Job summary

Franklin Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the efficient operation of property buildings and grounds. You will diagnose problems and perform repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and other systems.

The role requires reading safety rules, using tools, and providing courteous, on-site service. On-call availability is expected, with a base hourly pay highlighted in the posting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• HVAC certification preferred; CAMT recommended; Fair Housing Certification within 1 day of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance repairs.
• Respond promptly to resident work orders and notify management after completion.
• Maintain daily repair and upkeep of the community.
• Perform routine maintenance on vacant units prior to new occupancy.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Keep work area clean and tools organized.
