Job summary

Franklin Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to sustain the operation and upkeep of the property buildings and grounds. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, and other systems.

Essential duties include responding to resident work orders, maintaining inventory of tools and supplies, and ensuring cleanliness and safety in all work areas. On-call availability and adherence to safety policies are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–3 years related experience or training, or equivalent combination.
• Must have a valid driver's license and ability to travel to daily activities.
• HVAC certification preferred; CAMT recommended; Fair Housing Certification within 1 day of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance repairs and related maintenance tasks.
• Respond promptly to resident work orders and inform management of progress or delays.
• Maintain daily upkeep of the community and inspect units prior to new resident occupancy.
• Maintain inventory and care of all supplies and tools; keep work areas clean and organized.
• Adhere to OSHA standards and company safety policies at all times.
