Job summary

Avanath Capital seeks a Maintenance Technician to keep our multifamily communities safe, functional, and inviting. You will perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, pool maintenance, and general repairs while delivering outstanding resident service.

This role requires hands-on skills, reliability, on-call availability, and a positive, professional attitude. You will work independently and with a team to maintain grounds, facilities, and amenities in accordance with safety standards and

Qualifications

• 2 years of multifamily maintenance experience preferred.
• Hands-on maintenance skills including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, appliances, pools.
• EPA Type II or Universal certification highly desired; CPO is a plus.
• Availability to be on-call for emergencies.
• Reliable Transportation.
• Positive attitude and desire to learn and develop skills.
• Superior customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Basic computer knowledge (Windows, Word, Excel, email).

Responsibilities

• Provides exceptional customer service with every interaction and delivers high-quality maintenance service.
• Complete assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance per safety standards.
• Finish make-ready process to prepare vacant units for leasing and new move-ins.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; assist with cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards or incidents promptly.
