Job summary

Avanath Capital Management, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our multifamily communities well maintained and welcoming for residents. You will diagnose and repair issues, perform make-readies, and contribute to curb appeal while delivering outstanding resident service.

The role requires hands-on skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and pool systems, along with EPA certifications being highly desirable. On-call availability and a team-focused attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Two years of multifamily maintenance experience is highly desirable.
• Hands-on maintenance skills across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC and pool systems.
• EPA Type II or Universal certification is highly desired; CPO is a plus.
• On-call availability for emergencies.
• Reliable transportation required.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Superior customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Basic computer knowledge (Windows, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and high-quality maintenance.
• Complete work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Finish make-ready tasks for vacant apartments and coordinate vendors as needed.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; perform cleaning and painting as required.
• Help control costs by repairing instead of replacing when possible; ensure proper use of tools.
• Report safety and property condition concerns to management.
