Job summary

Avanath Capital Management, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold property conditions and deliver outstanding resident service. You will diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and appliance issues while performing preventive maintenance and safety checks.

The role requires reliability, a positive attitude, on-call flexibility, and teamwork within a dynamic community environment.

Qualifications

2 years of multifamily maintenance experience is highly desired.
Hands-on maintenance skills across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, appliances, pools, etc.
EPA Type II or Universal certification is highly desired; CPO is a plus.
On-call availability to address emergencies.
Reliable transportation and a positive, learn-and-grow attitude.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service with every interaction and deliver high-quality maintenance.Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventive maintenance.
Finish the make-ready process for vacant apartments, manage punch lists, and coordinate vendors and supplies.
Maintain grounds and common areas, perform cleaning, painting, and basic repairs as needed.
Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and report safety concerns promptly.
Follow safety procedures, OSHA training, and regulatory requirements; ensure compliance with company policies.
