Avanath is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep properties in excellent condition and deliver outstanding customer service to residents. You will handle repairs, preventative maintenance, and make-ready tasks to prepare units for leasing, while upholding safety standards and property guidelines.

The role emphasizes hands-on skills across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and appliances, with on-call availability and reliable transport.

Qualifications

• 2 years of multifamily maintenance experience is highly desired.
• Hands-on maintenance skills including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, appliances, pools.
• EPA Type II or Universal certification is highly desired; CPO is a plus.
• Availability to be on-call for emergencies and reliable transportation.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality maintenance service and exceptional customer support.
• Complete work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Perform make-ready tasks for vacant homes and coordinate vendors as needed.
• Maintain grounds and common areas, and assist with safety inspections.
• Follow safety policies and document work and inventory appropriately.
