Job summary

Pedcor Management Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold the physical needs of the property, including handling service requests and following the preventative maintenance schedule. The role requires hands-on experience with building systems and a willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and emergencies.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on apartments, buildings, equipment, and pools, ensure timely service, and support inventory and on-call

Qualifications

• Must be able to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours in emergencies.
• Proficient in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems and code compliance.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and life safety regulations.
• Willing to obtain EPA Type 2 Certification if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on apartments, buildings, equipment, and pools.
• Complete service requests within 24 hours, except emergencies.
• Prioritize maintenance based on urgency and potential damage.
• Maintain curb appeal and pathways to models and office.
• Assist with inventory management by notifying supervisor when stock is depleted.
• Keep storage and shop areas neat and organized per company color-coded program.
• Support maintenance operations in absence of supervisor.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for emergency after-hours calls.
