Job summary

The primary purpose of this position is to support the Community Manager to maintain and enhance the value of the assigned portfolio by delivering an effective and efficient customer service response program for residents’ maintenance needs; providing ongoing general maintenance repairs and implementing a preventive maintenance program to safeguard the asset’s physical structure and fixtures.

Qualifications

• Education - Reading and computational literacy at high school level or above.
• Experience - Maintenance or related building trades.
• Licensure/Certifications - Valid Class C Minnesota Driver’s License and boiler license.
• Ability to interact with residents and handle complaints with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs for resident requests in a timely and satisfactory manner.
• Carry out preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Monitor plumbing, heating, and electrical systems; maintain security and locks.
• Assist with unit move-ins/outs and coordinate with contractors.
• Maintain logs, supplies, and records related to maintenance activities.
