Apartment Management Consultants is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee daily repair and upkeep of property buildings and grounds, including preparing vacant units for occupancy.

You will manage tools and inventory, ensure safety within OSHA standards, and respond to after-hours requests. The role requires hands-on maintenance experience and solid communication skills, with on-call availability and a professional appearance expected.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining property buildings and grounds.
• Proficiency with HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Ability to operate hand tools and power tools.
• Strong communication and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for daily repair and upkeep of the property and vacant unit prep.
• Maintain and inventory all supplies and equipment.
• Ensure necessary tools are on hand.
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.
• Maintain a professional appearance and property uniform.
• Operate safely in accordance with OSHA and company policies.
• Be available to work on an on-call basis.
• Secure maintenance shops at close of day.
• Remove snow and ice as necessary.
• Handle lock-outs due to evictions and respond to service requests within 24 hours.
