Job summary

Greystar, a leading real estate operator, seeks a Service Technician to maintain property interiors and exteriors. Duties include diagnosing issues, completing work orders, and ensuring safety and code compliance on a full-time on-site schedule.

Responsibilities cover make-ready tasks, inventory management, and general upkeep of grounds and common areas. Valid licenses and refrigerant certifications are required to ensure high standards of service.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant certification.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable.
• Ability to read and follow safety policies, OSHA guidelines, and local codes.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance per policies and codes.
• Execute make-ready tasks for vacant units, coordinate with vendors, and inspect completed work.
• Manage materials, track inventory, and notify supervision when re-ordering is needed.
• Document service requests accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Maintain grounds and common areas, perform cleaning and painting as required.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
