Job summary

Greystar in Davenport, FL is seeking a Service Technician to maintain building systems, grounds, and common areas to Greystar standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

You will handle work orders, prepare vacants, inspect contracts, assist with grounds, and support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts. The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver's license, and flexibility for on-call evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• All required state and local certifications.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Makes ready preparations for vacant homes, including pre-move-in inspections and punch lists.
• Tracks inventory and notifies maintenance supervisor about re-ordering needs.
• Completes documentation for service requests to enable tracking and reporting.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, including cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible.
