Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold the physical standards of the property, grounds, amenities, and common areas to ensure safety, cleanliness, and functionality.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, repairs, make-ready tasks for vacancies, inventory tracking, and accurate documentation. EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver’s license are required to perform duties on-site.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant certifications required.
• State and local certifications as required for service technicians.
• Valid driver’s license to operate golf cart or vehicle on property as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Perform make-ready tasks for vacant units and inspect completed work.
• Track inventory, obtain supplies, and notify maintenance supervisor for re-orders.
• Document service requests accurately to enable tracking and reporting.
• Maintain grounds and common areas, including cleaning and minor repairs as needed.
• Assist cost-control by fixing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
