Job summary

Avanath Capital Management, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our communities safe, functional, and welcoming. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, respond to resident requests, and contribute to make-readies for new move-ins.

The role requires hands-on skills across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and appliances, plus on-call availability and strong customer service. Join a team that values safety, integrity, and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2 years of multifamily maintenance experience is highly desired.
• Hands-on maintenance skills including plumbing, electrical, general carpentry, HVAC, appliances, pools, etc.
• EPA Type II or Universal certification is highly desired; CPO is a plus.
• Availability to be on-call to address emergencies.
• Reliable transportation.
• Superior customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work independently or in a team.
• Basic computer knowledge: Windows, Word, Excel, internet, and e-mail.

Responsibilities

• Provides exceptional customer service with every interaction and delivers high-quality maintenance service.
• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance, diagnoses defects, and makes repairs.
• Completes the “make-ready” process to prepare vacant homes for leasing, with inspections and punch lists.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; performs cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-control by fixing parts when possible and tracking inventory and re-ordering needs.
• Follows safety policies and participates in routine safety meetings and training.
