Job summary

Royal American Companies is seeking a Maintenance Superintendent to oversee preservation and upkeep of the property under direct supervision of the Community Manager. You will ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies.

Responsibilities include performing scheduled maintenance, electrical, plumbing, carpentry tasks, and coordinating with vendors; maintain records, assist in custodial work, and participate in standby emergency schedule.

Qualifications

• Formal training or experience in carpentry, light plumbing, light electrical, painting, refurnishing and cleaning, and air conditioning.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• EPA certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair apartment units and common areas per procedures manual.
• Perform safety checks, hazard assessments and OSHA-compliant tasks.
• Keep preventive maintenance records and inventories up to date.
• Assist custodial work and coordinate with vendors as needed.
