Job summary

Royal American Companies is seeking a Maintenance Superintendent to oversee upkeep of the property under supervision of the Community Manager. You will follow OSHA standards and safety policies while performing preventive maintenance, repairs and unit refurbishments.

Essential duties include maintaining systems, inspecting areas, documenting work orders, and coordinating with vendors. A valid license and EPA certification within 90 days are required; travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Ability to obtain EPA certification within 90 days of hire.
• Must have a valid government-issued ID or driver’s license for travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair property systems in accordance with safety standards.
• Inspect units, common areas and amenities; perform preventive maintenance.
• Follow OSHA standards and company safety policies at all times.
• Keep records of maintenance work orders, inspections and inventories.
• Coordinate with Community Manager and vendors; provide training as needed.
• Respond to emergencies during standby schedule and ensure professional appearance.
