Job summary

Royal American Companies is seeking a Maintenance Superintendent to oversee property upkeep, safety compliance, and routine repairs. You will learn and apply OSHA standards, manage maintenance tasks, and ensure building codes and vendor obligations are met.

Responsibilities include scheduling preventive maintenance, inspecting units, training staff, and reporting incidents to the Community Manager. A High School diploma and EPA certification are required or obtainable within 90 days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• EPA certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and air conditioning.
• Ability to read and follow written service requests and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance on all property equipment per manufacturers' manuals.
• Inspect units and common areas; perform repairs and custodial tasks as needed.
• Maintain grounds and assist with custodial duties.
• Provide training for colleagues from other communities.
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances to Community Manager.
