Job summary

Franklin Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep community buildings and grounds in optimal condition. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, and appliance issues.

The role requires responding to resident requests and ensuring timely completion of work orders. Candidates should have a high schoolDiploma or GED and 1–3 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent.
• 1–3 years related experience and/or training.
• HVAC certification preferred; CAMT recommended; Fair Housing Certification within 1 day of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC repairs, carpentry, appliance repairs, glass replacement.
• Respond promptly to resident work orders and notify management upon completion.
• Responsible for daily repair and upkeep of the community.
• Perform routine maintenance punch on vacant units prior to new resident occupancy.
• Maintain care, maintenance and inventory of all supplies and equipment.
• Ensure work area and tools are clean and properly stored.
