Job summary

The Hallmark Company is seeking a maintenance technician to perform repairs, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance of apartment equipment, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliances. Must have own tools and be able to work on-site.

You will help maintain building systems, conduct inspections, and respond to emergency maintenance calls. Experience in multifamily properties is preferred; HVAC/EPA certification, CPO, Fair Housing, and a valid driver's license are advantages.

Qualifications

At least 2 years of maintenance experience or equivalent education/experience.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written English skills.
HVAC and/or EPA certification preferred.
Previous multifamily experience preferred.
Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification preferred.
Fair Housing Certificate required.
Driver's license required.

Responsibilities

Perform repairs, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance on building systems.
On-site basic repairs including HVAC, appliances, electrical, plumbing.
Respond to emergency maintenance calls 24/7 when scheduled.
Train Groundskeepers and entry level technicians.
Inspect and document system performance and prepare properties for regulatory inspections.
Winterize facilities and maintain pool equipment and chemical balance.
Inspect vacant units and oversee turnovers.
Move heavy equipment safely and manage maintenance requests and inventory.
