Job summary

The Hallmark Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform repairs, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance of apartment equipment on-site, including HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems.

Must have own tools and be able to respond to emergency maintenance calls 24/7. Two years of maintenance experience preferred; EPA/HVAC certs and CPO are a plus. Equal opportunity employer with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years maintenance experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written English communication skills.
• HVAC and/or EPA certification preferred.
• Previous multifamily experience preferred.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs, troubleshoots systems, and completes preventative maintenance.
• Must possess the knowledge and have the tools to perform on-site basic repairs including HVAC systems, appliances, water heaters, and facility electrical/plumbing systems.
• Available for emergency maintenance calls 24 hours a day when scheduled.
• Assists in training Groundskeepers and entry level Maintenance Technicians.
• Inspects and maintains property systems and prepares properties for regulatory inspections.
