Job summary

Hallmark Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform repairs, troubleshoot, and run preventive maintenance on apartment equipment, including appliances, electrical and plumbing systems. You must have your own tools and be available for emergency calls.

Experience in multifamily properties and HVAC/EPA/CPO certifications are preferred. The role emphasizes maintaining building systems, inspections readiness, and supervising or assisting in trainings for junior staff.

Qualifications

• Two years of maintenance experience required or equivalent education and work experience.
• HVAC and/or EPA certification preferred.
• Previous multifamily experience preferred.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs and troubleshooting of building systems and preventative maintenance.
• On-site basic repairs including HVAC, appliances, water heaters, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Responds to emergency maintenance calls 24 hours a day when scheduled.
• Trains groundskeepers and entry level technicians.
• Inspects building systems and prepares property for inspections by regulatory agencies.
• Performs preventive maintenance including winterizing facilities and pool equipment, and maintains safety measures in vacant units.
