Job summary

The Hallmark Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform repairs, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on apartment equipment and facilities. The role requires on-site work, basic HVAC and plumbing tasks, and the ability to respond to emergency maintenance calls around the clock.

Candidates should have at least two years of maintenance experience and strong English communication skills. Certifications such as HVAC/EPA and a CPO are preferred, and a valid driver’s license is

Qualifications

• Two (2) years maintenance experience required or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written English communication skills.
• HVAC and/or EPA certification preferred.
• Previous multifamily experience preferred.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification preferred
• Fair Housing Certificate required.
• Drivers license required.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs, troubleshoots systems, and completes preventative maintenance.
• On-site basic repairs including HVAC, appliances, water heaters, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Available for emergency maintenance calls 24 hours a day.
• Assist in training Groundskeepers and entry level Maintenance Technicians.
• Inspect and document building and alarm systems; prepare properties for inspections.
