Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support daily property maintenance across our communities. You will perform corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance under supervision, including make-ready tasks, safety compliance, and record-keeping.

On-site attendance and responsiveness to resident requests are essential as part of a tight-knit team focused on quality and timely service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders for community common areas, buildings, and units in a timely manner.
• Assist with the scheduling and performance of all maintenance/repair-related turn events.
• Perform swimming pool maintenance and cleaning and maintain accurate chemical logs.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and other community features daily to identify and correct hazards.
• Maintain preventative maintenance program to extend life of the community and minimize future repairs.
• Maintain organized maintenance shop and adhere to safety standards and OSHA guidelines.
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining hazard communications program; promote safe work practices.
• Participate in unit inspections and assist in monitoring inventory of equipment and supplies.

Education
