Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive, routine, and cosmetic maintenance at a California community. You will work under the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager, supporting make-readies and daily upkeep to meet operational goals.

The role emphasizes safety, accurate record-keeping, and strong customer service, including responding to resident requests, maintaining logs, and assisting in on-call emergencies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site maintenance tasks for community common areas and units.
• Assist with scheduling and execution of maintenance/repair-related turn events.
• Maintain clean and organized maintenance shop and uphold safety standards.
• Assist in monitoring inventory of equipment and supplies as requested.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders in a timely manner.
