Greystar is seeking a property maintenance technician in Santa Monica, CA. The role involves performing technical maintenance to ensure buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

On-call and weekend availability are required, with a schedule Thursday through Monday, 9am–6pm. Requirements include 1–2 years of maintenance experience, EPA refrigerant certifications (Type 1 & II or Universal), and a valid driver's license to

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of maintenance experience.
• EPA refrigerant certifications Type 1 and II or Universal.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.
• On-call required; weekend availability; Thursday-Monday; 9am - 6pm.

Responsabilités

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance on the property.
• Completes the “make-ready” process to prepare vacant apartment homes for leasing and new move-ins.
• Follows procedures to access materials, track inventory, and notify supervisor about re-orders.
• Documents and files paperwork promptly so service requests are tracked.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; basic cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible.
