Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician for its Santa Rosa properties. The role focuses on keeping buildings, grounds, and amenities clean, safe, and fully functional, with on-site duties and on-call rotation.

The work involves completing work orders, preparing units for leasing, and maintaining inventory and documentation in line with company policies. The position requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver's license, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and

Qualifications

• Experience performing maintenance on residential properties.
• Ability to prepare vacant homes for leasing and conduct pre-move-out inspections.
• Familiarity with inventory tracking and coordinating with vendors.
• Ability to follow safety standards and comply with code requirements.
• Flexible schedule to support on-call evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Completes the “make-ready” process to prepare vacant apartment homes for leasing and move-ins.
• Follows procedures for obtaining materials and tracking inventory.
• Completes documentation in a timely, accurate, and complete fashion.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities including cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible.
• Complies with safety and risk-management policies and attends safety meetings.
• Assists in inspecting work by contractors and service providers for quality.
• Assists in routine property inspections to identify safety and repair needs.

Education

EPA Type 1 & II or Universal Refrigerant Certification
