Job summary

HTG Management LLC seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform daily repairs and upkeep at assigned communities. You will respond to resident requests, support make-ready work, and assist with preventive maintenance and safety.

This hands-on role requires troubleshooting skills, safe work practices, and clear communication with residents and coworkers. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of maintenance experience, preferably in multifamily housing or a related setting.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general building maintenance.
• Ability to read maintenance instructions, equipment manuals, and safety procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting, attention to detail, communication, and resident service skills.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to service requests and complete work orders within 24 hours when feasible.
• Troubleshoot and perform routine plumbing repairs including sinks, showers, faucets, and toilets.
• Replace or repair light fixtures, switches, outlets, and other electrical components.
• Perform basic HVAC troubleshooting and maintenance; escalate when needed.
• Repair or replace appliances and complete basic carpentry and building repairs.
• Record work performed, materials used, and follow up needs with supervision.
• Assist with vacant unit inspections and make ready work per schedule.
• Perform groundskeeping tasks and basic pool maintenance as trained.
• Participate in emergency response, on-call rotations, and safety procedures.
• Operate and care for maintenance tools, ensure safe handling and PPE usage.
• Communicate professionally with residents, vendors, and coworkers.
