Job summary

BG Staffing, Inc. is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a multifamily property management role.

You’ll handle service requests, preventive maintenance, apartment turns, and repairs to keep the community safe and looking its best. You should be a dependable problem-solver with strong hands‑on maintenance skills, able to troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks, and communicate professionally with residents and team members.

Qualifications

• 2+ years apartment maintenance experience
• HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance knowledge
• Proficient with hand/power tools
• Strong troubleshooting and independent repair ability
• Excellent customer service and communication
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and complete apartment maintenance service requests
• Troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and water-heater issues
• Perform drywall, painting, carpentry, flooring, lock, and general building repairs
• Complete apartment turns and make-ready work
• Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance
• Maintain buildings, common areas, amenities, and grounds
• Document completed work and monitor maintenance supplies
• Communicate professionally with residents, vendors, and team members
• Participate in a rotating after-hours emergency on-call schedule
• Follow company safety procedures and report potential hazards
