Job summary

NANA Management Services is seeking a Security Officer to provide health, safety, and security for Maniilaq Village Health Clinics and surrounding areas in Kotzebue, AK. The role follows a 1 week on, 1 week off rotation and may include on-call work outside regular hours.

Training consists of a 10-day consecutive program in Kotzebue with lodging and transportation provided for new hires. The position requires physical stamina and a strong commitment to safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to pass Alaska background check and license requirements.
• Must work well in a team and make quick decisions.
• Must be on your feet for long shifts and stay safety conscious.

Responsibilities

• Monitor assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
• De-escalate situations to protect staff and visitors.
• Inspect doors, windows, and access points for security.
• respond to emergencies and support safety procedures.
• Assist with events and clinic readiness as needed.
• Issue and track ID badges if required.
• Report incidents following company policies.
