Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking on-call kitchen staff to perform essential kitchen tasks as needed. The role supports serving lines, prepares foods per menu plans, and maintains clean, organized work areas in a cafeteria setting.

Responsibilities include cooking, batch preparation, food safety, and inventory management following HHFKA/CACFP guidelines. Must follow Opaa!'s safety procedures and timekeeping policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) preferred; or up to one month related experience, training, or education.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up of serving lines daily and ensure all food is held at the required temperature.
• Assist in the preparation of foods per menu plan and Opaa! recipes; plan and prep for next day menus.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders, and other equipment with proper certification.
• Keep work areas neat, clean, and organized; clean kitchen and cafeteria areas and equipment.
