Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking kitchen staff to support daily food service operations across multiple sites. The role involves assisting with line set-up, food preparation according to the menu and Opaa! recipes, and ensuring proper food temperatures for service.

The candidate should be able to operate standard kitchen equipment, follow safety procedures, and maintain clean, organized workspaces while supporting inventory control and consistent presentation of meals.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED preferred; or related experience or training.
• Ability to read and follow menu plans and recipes accurately.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment with proper safety.
• Basic math for portioning and meal counts.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up of serving lines and ensure food is held at correct temperatures.
• Assist in food preparation according to menu and Opaa! recipes; plan and prep ahead.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders and other equipment with proper certification.
• Keep work areas neat, clean, and organized; maintain FIFO stock.
• Clean kitchen and cafeteria areas, including equipment and dishes.
• Maintain inventory and ensure proper storage conditions.
