Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, preferred; or up to one month related experience, training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; present information clearly.
• Mathematical Skills: Basic arithmetic, fractions, decimals, ratios, and percentages; interpret simple graphs.
• Reasoning Ability: Ability to follow detailed but straightforward written or oral instructions; handle a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up of serving lines and ensure food held at required temperatures.
• Prepare foods per menu plan and Opaa! recipes; plan ahead for next day menus.
• Operate kitchen equipment with proper certification; maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Maintain FIFO inventory; keep cooler/storage areas clean and stocked.
• Prepare baked goods as required by menu; present to customers appealingly.
• Follow HACCP, safety, and daily/weekly/monthly food safety logs.
