Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking kitchen staff to support daily operations across multiple sites. You will assist with line setup, food preparation per menu, and ensure food safety standards and proper temperatures.

Responsibilities include operating basic kitchen equipment, maintaining hygienic work areas, handling cash or POS duties, and supporting the dishwashing and inventory processes. Training on HACCP and HHFKA compliance is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, preferred; or up to one month related experience, training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read simple instructions and follow procedures accurately.
• Basic math skills for portioning, counts, and meal reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Set up serving lines daily and ensure all food is held at correct temperatures.
• Assist in food preparation per menu and recipes; plan ahead for next day menus.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders, and other equipment with proper certification.
• Keep work areas neat, clean, and organized; maintain FIFO inventory flow.
• Assist in dishwashing area and monitor proper chemical usage and safety logs.
• Handle customer monies, run cash register or POS as required.
