Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. seeks on-call kitchen staff to support serving lines, food prep, and daily operations across multiple sites. You will help with setup, temperature control, and recipe execution, while maintaining clean, organized work areas and adhering to FIFO and safety standards.

The role involves batch cooking, stocking, and occasional baking to support menus. Candidates should be able to follow HACCP procedures and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; or limited related experience or training.
• Ability to follow recipes and menu plans accurately.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety guidelines.
• Comfort with maintaining FIFO inventory and clean work areas.
• Willingness to operate kitchen equipment with proper safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily setup of serving lines and ensure food is held at required temperatures.
• Prepare foods per menu and Opaa! recipes; plan ahead for next-day menus.
• Operate equipment with proper certification and maintain cleanliness.
• Maintain inventory and stock, following FIFO and proper storage.
• Assist with dishwashing area and maintain sanitation standards.
• Prepare baked goods as required and present attractively to customers.
• Support sanitation, safety, and daily record-keeping as directed.
• Demonstrate Opaa!'s core values in daily tasks.
