Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. seeks kitchen staff to perform essential functions on an as-needed basis across our programs.

Pay rates vary by state and position, reflecting local market conditions. Responsibilities include setting up serving lines, preparing foods per menu/recipes, maintaining proper temperatures, operating equipment, and keeping work areas clean and organized. Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent), and can comply with HACCP and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, preferred; or up to one month related experience, training or equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up of serving lines daily and ensure all food is held at required temperatures.
• Assist in preparation of foods per menu plan and Opaa! recipes; plan and prep for next day menus.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders, and other equipment with proper certification.
• Keep work areas neat, clean, and organized; maintain FIFO inventory.
• Prepare breads and baked goods as required by the menu plan and present to customers.
• Maintain strict compliance with HACCP processes and daily/weekly/monthly logs.
