Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking kitchen staff on an as-needed basis to support serving lines, prep, and basic food handling in our facilities.

This role requires adherence to recipes, HACCP, and safety procedures; candidates should be reliable, able to stand for long periods, and work with team to deliver meals per menu. Pay scales vary by state and position, reflecting our nationwide service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; or up to one month related experience, training or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and employees

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up of serving lines daily and ensure all food is held at the required temperature.
• Assist in the preparation of foods according to the menu plan and Opaa! recipes, and prep for next day menus.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders, and other equipment with proper certification.
• Keep work areas neat, clean, and organized; maintain FIFO inventory.
• Clean kitchen and cafeteria areas including equipment and dishes; maintain sanitation.
