Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is hiring kitchen staff on an as-needed basis to support serving lines, prep, and compliance with HACCP standards across our cafeteria operations. The role requires attention to food safety, consistent meal presentation, and teamwork.

The ideal candidate will be able to follow menus, operate common kitchen equipment, maintain clean work areas, and assist with inventory while delivering friendly service to customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and write simple correspondence.
• Basic math skills for measurements, rates, ratios, and percentages.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up of serving lines and maintain proper food temperatures.
• Prepare foods per menu plan and Opaa! recipes.
• Operate kitchen equipment with proper certification.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and FIFO inventory.
• Handle cash register duties and meal reconciliation as needed.
• Follow safety policies and report unsafe conditions.
• Attend required meetings and training.
