Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking kitchen staff to support serving lines, prep, and basic production on an as-needed basis. The role covers daily setup, cooking, and compliance with safety standards in our Midwest operations, including temperature control and FIFO practices.

You will follow Opaa!'s recipes, assist with bread/baked goods, and help maintain clean, organized workspaces while adhering to HACCP and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; or up to one month related experience, training or equivalent.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, follow recipes and menus.
• Willingness to work as-needed basis in a kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up of serving lines and ensure foods are held at proper temperatures.
• Assist in food preparation per menu plan and Opaa! recipes; plan ahead for next day menus.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders and other equipment with proper certification.
• Keep work areas neat, clean and organized; maintain FIFO inventory.
• Prepare baked goods as required and present to customers appealingly.
• Maintain HACCP and daily food safety logs; report unsafe conditions.
