Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking kitchen staff to support daily food preparation, line setup, and service on an as-needed basis. The role requires following recipes, maintaining proper temperatures, and ensuring clean, organized work areas.

Responsibilities include batch cooking, serving duties, FIFO inventory, and adherence to HACCP and Opaa!'s safety policies. The position supports meal service across multiple sites with varied pay rates by state and position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; or up to one month related experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
• Willingness to follow HACCP and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set‑up of serving lines and ensure food is held at proper temperatures.
• Prepare foods per menu plan and Opaa! recipes; plan ahead for next day menus.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders, and other equipment with proper certification.
• Keep work areas neat, clean, and organized.
• Maintain FIFO inventory and keep cooler/storage clean.
• Prepare baked goods as required by the menu plan.
• Batch cook to maintain quality and presentation.
• Assist with serving lines and restock items as needed.
• Follow safety rules and participate in safety program.
