Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking kitchen staff on an as-needed basis to assist with serving line setup, food preparation, and maintaining proper holding temperatures.

You will operate slicers, mixers and other equipment, keep areas clean, manage inventory with FIFO, and support the Kitchen Manager with ordering and prep for subsequent menus. This role emphasizes food safety, presentation, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, preferred; or up to one month related experience, training or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to follow HACCP processes and daily logs to ensure food safety
• Experience with cash handling and meal counting software is a plus

Responsibilities

• Set up serving lines and ensure all food is held at proper temperatures.
• Assist in preparing foods per menu plan and Opaa! recipes.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders and other equipment with proper certification.
• Keep work areas neat, clean, and organized.
• Maintain FIFO inventory and keep cooler/storage racks clean.
