Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking on-call kitchen staff to support serving lines, food prep, and food safety across multiple locations. The role involves meal preparation, equipment operation, inventory management, and maintaining cleanliness according to recipes and HACCP standards.

The position offers flexible, as-needed hours with opportunities to learn and contribute to daily operations, while adhering to safety procedures and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; or up to one month related experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and write simple notes or memos.
• Ability to effectively present information to customers and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up of serving lines and keep food at proper temperatures.
• Prepare foods per menu plan and Opaa! recipes; plan ahead for next day menus.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders, and other equipment with proper certification.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow FIFO for inventory.
• Assist in dishwashing area and ensure proper storage of clean dishes.
• Prepare baked goods as required and present to customers attractively.
• Restock serving lines and ensure quality presentation and hospitality.
