Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking part-time kitchen staff to support daily serving line setup and food preparation. The role requires following the menu plan, Opaa! recipes, and batch cooking to ensure quality and appealing presentation.

Various shifts and locations across multiple states; pay varies by state and position. Basic kitchen duties, cleanliness, and safe handling of equipment are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; or up to one month related experience, training or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence
• Mathematical skills: add, subtract, multiply and divide; compute rates, ratios and percent

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up of serving lines daily and ensure food is held at correct temperatures
• Prepare foods per menu plan and Opaa! recipes; batch cook for quality and presentation
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders and other equipment with proper certification
• Keep work areas clean and organized; maintain FIFO inventory and proper storage
• Handle customer monies at service time and operate cash register or POS as needed
• Follow HACCP food safety logs and daily production records
• Maintain compliance with safety procedures and participate in required trainings
