Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking kitchen staff to support meals and service as needed across our operations.

Responsibilities include setting up serving lines, preparing foods per recipes, and maintaining clean, organized work areas while complying with safety and portion standards. Employees will operate a range of kitchen equipment, assist with inventory, and ensure proper food temperatures. This role involves physical duties and attention to food safety procedures in a busy cafeteria

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; or up to one month related experience, training or equivalent.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally and move objects up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up of serving lines and ensure food is held at required temperatures.
• Prepare foods per menu plan and Opaa! recipes; batch cook and present to customers.
• Operate kitchen equipment with proper certification.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and restock supplies.
• Follow HACCP and safety procedures; document temperatures and daily records.
• Handle customer monies at service time and run cash register as needed.
• Submit hours worked and communicate schedule changes promptly.
