Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking kitchen staff to support serving lines, prep work, and food safety duties across multiple sites. The role requires maintaining food temperatures, operating kitchen equipment, and assisting with daily production in a fast-paced environment.

This on-site position involves cash handling, daily reconciliation tasks, and adherence to HHFKA/CACFP guidelines. Equal opportunity employer; all qualified applicants will be considered.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information to customers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up of serving lines and ensure all food is held at proper temperatures.
• Prepare foods per menu plan and Opaa! recipes; batch cook as needed.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders and other equipment with proper certification.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and FIFO stock management.
• Handle customer monies at service time and operate the POS system; run cash register as needed.
• Submit hours worked through ADP or time edit sheets; notify DNS 24 hours in advance of coverage issues.
