Beacon Hospice, Amedisys Optum, part of UnitedHealth Group, is hiring an Hospice Oncall Registered Nurse for a 7 on/7 off schedule. This role provides after-hours clinical support, triages patient needs remotely and in the field, and coordinates care to maintain continuity and quality outcomes.

The position requires an active RN license in the state, CPR certification, a valid driver's license, and 1+ year of nursing experience in hospice, home health, or acute care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state(s) you are assigned to work.
• Current CPR certification.
• 1+ years of nursing experience in hospice, home health, or acute care.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-call nursing support, triaging patient needs and determining appropriate interventions.
• Assess patient conditions via phone and/or in-person visits and escalate care as needed.
• Coordinate with physicians, care teams, and caregivers to ensure timely and effective care delivery.
• Deliver patient and caregiver education related to symptom management and care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions and clinical decisions.
