Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Floating Maintenance Supervisor for the Mid-Atlantic region. The role oversees daily maintenance operations across properties, ensures compliance with Avenue5 policies and local regulations, and contributes to the property budget.

You will lead a maintenance team, handle on-call rotations, and drive timely, quality service for residents and properties. Key duties include coordinating repairs, supervising tasks such as carpentry and HVAC, and promoting safety

Qualifications

Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and current auto insurance.
Ability to read, write and understand English.
General maintenance and carpentry skills.
CFC / EPA / HVAC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day maintenance operations and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
Work with the maintenance team to meet service requests and unit make-ready standards.
Respond to maintenance issues promptly and manage safety and risk.
Perform electrical, plumbing, appliance, flooring, carpentry, HVAC and grounds maintenance.
Lead inspections, manage work orders, and monitor budgets and cost controls.
Supervise on-call rotations and participate in emergency response as needed.
Mentor maintenance staff and maintain professional appearance and conduct.
