Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Floating Maintenance Supervisor in the Mid-Atlantic region. The role oversees day-to-day maintenance, ensures regulatory compliance, and manages on-site tasks to maintain property standards.

The position includes hourly pay and mileage reimbursement, with on-call responsibilities. Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in property management maintenance, strong carpentry and HVAC knowledge, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least three years of experience in the property management industry is required.
• Must currently have and maintain a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and current auto insurance.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Possess general maintenance and carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance tasks and ensure make-ready standards.
• Review and track progress of service requests and identify chronic issues.
• Respond promptly to maintenance issues following company policy.
• Perform repairs to electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, grounds maintenance.
• Perform general carpentry duties and finish work.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across property grounds and common areas.
• Manage on-call rotation and emergencies as needed.
