Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Floating Maintenance Supervisor in the Mid-Atlantic region to oversee daily maintenance operations, ensure compliance with company policies, and manage service requests and make-ready standards across properties.

You will perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry repairs and lead a maintenance team while promoting safety, resident satisfaction, and budget adherence. This role requires proactive leadership and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least three years of experience in the property management industry.
• CFC / EPA / HVAC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day maintenance operations and ensure compliance with Avenue5 standards.
• Work with the maintenance team to meet service requests and unit make-ready standards.
• Respond promptly to maintenance issues per policy while maintaining professionalism.
• Perform repairs across electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and risk management across properties.
• Walk properties weekly with leadership to address challenges and opportunities.
• Mentor maintenance team and promote collaboration with residents and managers.
• Monitor maintenance costs to stay within budget and support future budgeting.
