Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician in Austin, TX to diagnose, repair and install Fire & Life Safety systems at customer sites. You will follow troubleshooting procedures, interpret blueprints and perform panel programming as needed.

The role requires strong communication, physical ability for field work, and a Texas Fire Alarm license. On-call rotation and training opportunities are included as part of the package.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in low voltage electrical systems (Fire/Life Safety).
• Reading blueprints, submittals, manuals and specs.
• Texas Fire Alarm license required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair fire alarm and building systems at customer sites.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specs to determine service actions.
• Provide exceptional customer service and document work in company systems.
