Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking skilled, driven technicians to support our growing national client base. This role goes beyond basic helpdesk tasks, involving OS installs, structured cabling, and telecom work across diverse environments.

You will be on-call and travel within an approx. 80-mile radius from home, with 1099 contractor terms and opportunities for advancement. A hands-on, professional approach is essential.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of I.T. or Telecom experience and one of the listed certifications or 5+ years field experience.
• PC and printer troubleshooting experience is a strong plus.
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling across buildings, including drilling, cabling, and dressing.
• Telecom work such as punch-downs and demarc extensions.
• Work independently across retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate environments.
• Be on call and respond to service requests within your territory.
