Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking skilled technicians to support our growing national client base. This role goes beyond basic helpdesk tasks and involves OS installs, cabling, and telecom work across multiple environments.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in IT/Telecom, with one of A+, Network+, or 5+ years field experience. You’ll be on-site, travel frequently within a territory, and receive hourly pay with on-call availability.

Qualifications

• PC and printer troubleshooting experience (a strong plus).
• At least 1 year of I.T. or Telecom experience, and one of the following: A+ Certification, Network+ Certification, OR 5+ years verifiable field experience in I.T./Telecom.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of technical tasks including but not limited to: OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling (including drilling, running, and dressing cables).
• Telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions, etc.).
• Work independently across various environments: retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate.
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism with clients.
• Be on call and ready to respond to service requests within your territory.
